I can’t believe it had been 8 years since I visited San Antonio. The last time I was in town, my big sister was getting married. This time around, I was meeting up with Taylor of Taylor Glam, her incredible design team, and August.
When the bride arrived, I think my jaw hit the floor. She was STUNNING, y’all. If you follow me on social media, then you know what I’m talking about–I’ve been oversharing the hell out of this one. Her blush dress from A & Be seemed like it was designed for the Mission; both the gown and the architecture are works of art. Speaking of art, be sure to take a look at the bouquet! Those florals are the embodiment of spring, overflowing with greenery, soft pinks, and pops of yellow.
I wish I had been able to stay and shoot longer. The warmest day we had in April paired with only having eaten kolaches from the Czech Stop on the way down mixed with a heavy camera bag led to one of the worst migraines I’ve ever had.
All in all, I’m so stoked to have captured what I did.
August, you slayed. There’s no other way to put it.
The next few sets of images were taken minutes apart from each other. It’s crazy fun to play with light. It’s a tad bit of a departure from my usual style, but that drama was necessary here.
Besides getting outside of DFW for this session, I would have to say my favorite aspect of this was photographing someone who inspired me so much. August, thank you for getting me out of my creative rut.
Mad love to all of the vendors involved in this magic.
