Do you guys know how hard it is NOT to share a bridal session like this for a few months? Not impossible, but almost. Anna and Joe got hitched yesterday, so I knew as soon as I woke up this morning that this was hitting the blog.
When I first spoke with Anna over the phone, she was gushing to me about her dream wedding venue; very industrial with speakeasy vibes and a touch of vintage glam. I knew that I wanted to do her bridal session at T&P Station, but then she told me about one of the most magical places I’ve ever been– Thompson’s Bookstore in downtown Fort Worth… which is a real life speakeasy! There’s a secret passageway behind a bookshelf and everything! We started there, where I was swooning the second I walked in. Dramatic lighting, antique accessories, and prohibition style drinks. Of course it was the biggest tease, since Marc and I found out we’re expecting Baby #2, so we’ll have to wait until 2019 to go back and indulge 😉
Anyways, downtown Funky Town fit her aesthetic PERFECTLY. We started at Thompson’s, then moved over to T&P, and then finished outside the Old Post Office. Picture time!
Who doesn’t want a red taxidermy deer as a backdrop? Too epic.
Anna, these are some of my favorite portraits everrr. Thank you for trusting my vision and sharing your creativity as well. <3 Congratulations on joining the Wifey Club!
