Andrew and I went to school together and we’ve been friends since 2007. Back then we were dancing in the stands at football games (we were in band together, I was his section leader) and then fast forward a few years to now: He’s moved out to Colorado, met the love of his life, and now they’re expecting baby Micah in 9 weeks! I was already thrilled when he asked me to photograph the couple’s maternity portraits when they came to Texas for their baby shower, but I think I just about exploded with excitement when Andrew let me in on his plans to propose to Michaelah at the photoshoot.
After pushing the session back a couple hours due to rain and fog, we met up in downtown Burkburnett, TX.
