I was the second shooter for the ever wonderful Ashley Campana Photography on May 31, 2014. Ashley and I have worked together many times, most of the time in the Wichita Falls area, but when she told me that the wedding was in Mansfield at the Classic Oaks Ranch, I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been dreaming of shooting at Classic Oaks for a while now and let me tell you… when I drove up that evening, I was in awe. The property is GORGEOUS. Huge Oak trees everywhere, a beautiful pond, a rustic barn, an outdoor wedding venue, dreamy sunshine, and even CAMELS! I could shoot a wedding there every weekend and not get tired of it. It’s seriously a photographer’s dream. And then I met Jessica and Perry.
Perry and Jessica are the kind of couple that when you see them you go, “Awww!” They light up any room they’re in with their affection for each other, and the love that deep is refreshing. Their wedding day was filled with smiles, stolen glances, and lots of kisses. And speaking of kisses, their First Kiss was my favorite of all time. Just wait and see 😉
Their wedding day couldn’t have portrayed their personalities any better than it did. Perry is an avid golfer, Jessica is a TCU cheer alumni, and their fur-baby Nelson the basset hound walked the newlyweds down the aisle! A blue and khaki color scheme blended beautifully with the lush greens and golds around the property, DIY touches and custom lighting made the reception hall perfect, and Perry even surprised his Bride with a special guest: the TCU mascot! How amazing is that?
Jessica & Perry, your wedding was perfect. Thank you for having me out and congratulations! May you two have a blessed and happy marriage!
