Sunday, March 23, 2014 marked a big day for me. It was my first ever Styled Shoot. I’ve seen a lot of fabulous photographers put together a styled wedding and I always thought they were pretty cool. Why not give it a shot? I had a lot of down time since the weather wasn’t warm enough for portraits yet and wedding season (for me) didn’t kick off until the first week of April. It’s also a great way to exercise your creativity and to meet and work with some amazing vendors in the area!
My problem was, I didn’t really know where to start. Thanks to the advice of some of my fellow reSTARt colleagues, I knew where to begin, what to say, and what I needed. I was prepared to hear a lot of “No”, but I would just take it in stride and knock on the next vendor’s door, so to speak. However, I got extremely lucky and most places were more than happy to work with me! Within a few short weeks, I had everything I needed lined up to make this dream a reality. It was hard, time consuming, and stressful, but everything came together perfectly!
Thank you to all of the AMAZING FABULOUS EXTRAORDINARY PHENOMENAL vendors that made this a reality!
